As part of our commitment to their professional development, we pay our local guides a livable wage and provide ongoing staff training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to lead successful hike.

Herbert is born in La Soledad Village. His early life started as a tourist guide. Today, he is a child's father and lives with his wife in La Soledad Village. In his twenties, he emigrated to the United States to work in the State of California.
